Deerfield Group helps Colonial students start strong

Deerfield Group's Facilities Manager, Tom Wilson, dropping off backpacks and supplies for Colonial students.
Some students in the Colonial School District recently received backpacks and school supplies from the generous team at the Deerfield Group in Conshohocken.
Facilities Manager Tom Wilson, who dropped off the supplies, noted that almost everyone in the office brought items in for the backpacks. “Some people remotely around the country donated, as well,” he said. “It was a total team effort.”
Based in Conshohocken, Deerfield is a marketing and advertising agency that focuses on life sciences clients. The company believes that excellence in business must be paired with responsibility to the broader community. The internal Culture Club plays a pivotal role in shaping company culture and organizing opportunities for Deerfield to give back in meaningful and structured ways—like the backpack collection.
“As a forward-thinking agency, Deerfield recognizes that investing in schools is a long-term strategy for community resilience and sustainable success,” said Amanda Dain, a Senior Graphic Designer with Deerfield. “Every backpack donated contributes to a foundation that helps children realize their potential—not just in school, but in life.”
The company notes that when local businesses commit resources to education, it results in:
- Better educational outcomes and higher graduation rates
- Stronger local economies with a skilled future workforce
- Reduced inequality and greater access to opportunity
- Meaningful employee engagement and corporate culture alignment
The Colonial School District thanks the Deerfield Group for supporting our students and helping all children get their school year off to a solid start.
