Round up at the register for hungry students through March 31 at GIANT

Round up at the register to help feed kids in need. Donations support local school food programs through 3/31/25.

In the Colonial School District, we’re lucky to have several partners helping to combat hunger in our students. From January 1 to March 31, The GIANT Company is partnering with the Colonial School District to help support our students facing food insecurity.

Everyone who shops at GIANT will be invited to “round up” at the register and donate the round-up amount of their bill to support Feeding School Kids. Customers can also give by converting their CHOICE Rewards Points to donations in the GIANT app or by purchasing a reusable bag.

The goal is to support the children in our District who need the most help accessing nutritious meals. Whether it's used for weekend support, clearing lunch debt, or to pay for summer meals, the funds will be provided directly to Colonial’s Food and Nutrition Services to use in these programs.

While "rounding up" at GIANT has brought in thousands of dollars for programs combatting food insecurity in the Colonial School District, you can also still help hungry children with a tax deductible donation to the Colonial School District Education Foundation's Food For Thought campaign.
