In the slightest of moments,

She marched up to me

Yet I couldn’t seem to see

How different she would be

 

What girl can be so straightforward

So daring and fearless

If only opposites attract

But I realized, unlike others she had inspiration

For her willingness to learn was captivating

Even at times of loss and frustration

Still, she managed to be radiating

 

When I struggled, she was there

Without hesitation, she supported my journey

She was my strength, my attorney

A friendship like this

One I could eternalize and reminisce

After all, I have faith in your kindness

As we grew older

She became my beholder
