Is Cereal a Soup?
All my life I had always believed that cereal is a soup, but that was clearly an unpopular opinion. I had never really thought of putting that to the test until now. I have gone over everything, some people have said “Soup needs some sort of salty broth,” which could be countered with tomato soup. I thought I had an unbreakable argument. Searching this up is not an option, as there are varying results. Some say that a soup must be cooked, and some say it does not. But after searching for a while, I thought I came to a scary revelation.
Soups have to be cooked.
In order, to be soups.
And after much searching, the same results.
Soup(s) means a food prepared from meat, poultry, fish, vegetables, grains, fruit and other ingredients, cooked in a liquid which may include visible pieces of some or all of these ingredients.

Until, one thing came up that completely changed everything.
Gazpacho is a soup of origin from Spain, and is legally a soup, no matter where you look, it's considered a soup, and, well, you guessed it, it AIN'T COOKED!
In the end this question has no actual answer. In certain places, like cookbooks, Gazpacho is identified as some sort of salad. But the majority of people, even those who believe cereal is not a soup, believe Gazpacho is, so take that non believers!
Is a Hotdog a Sandwich or a Taco?
Personally, I believe it's neither, but that's boring. Let's find out!
Sandwich- an item of food consisting of two pieces of bread with meat, cheese, or other filling between them, eaten as a light meal.
-Oxford Dictionary
Taco-a Mexican dish consisting of a fried tortilla, typically folded, filled with various mixtures, such as seasoned meat, beans, lettuce, and tomatoes.
-Also Oxford Dictionary
Both of these definitions completely rule out being a hot dog, but let's dig further.
A hot dog is typically a pork sausage. Which for both, this applies. It only has one piece of bread. Which means it has to be a taco, right? Nope. This bread is typically brioche, which is not a tortilla. This makes it really difficult, so we have to be more specific. And while this argument may seem to be long, but it's just been cut short, by this-
Merriam-Webster defines a “sandwich” to be “two or more slices of bread or a split roll having a filling in between” or “one slice of bread covered with food.” Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg even weighed-in on the topic, stating that under Stephen Colbert's definition of a “sandwich,” a hot dog is indeed a sandwich
Once again, this is not 100%, but this is the largest source of evidence directing towards one opinion, and is backed up by many sources stating a taco requires a tortilla, and a sandwich does not require only one piece of bread.
Is Cold a Physical Thing?
On a less food related note, comes this question. And thankfully, this one isn’t up to wacky internet definitions. Kinda.
But to start off, a great question is: Is heat a physical thing?
Yes it is. Heat is energy, energy is a physical thing, while not necessarily solid, it's a thing. But then, we go into definitions. Is heat the energy that makes particles move fast, or is it the fast particles? When you're describing something as hot, you're describing it as fast. But you're not referring to the object itself. Example:
“That hamburger is hot!”
But, if you were referring the latter, it would be like
“That hot is…. Wait, what?”
So you're not referring to the thing itself.
(it could be referred to as an adjective, but it is mostly referred to as energy)
but now let's talk about what actually matters. Cold. Cold is when something’s particles move slower, which means, it's the lack of heat/energy. When something is only the lack of something, it is nothing. Yes, heat is the lack of cold, but that would mean heat is the lack of nothing, and now that we have already confirmed heat is energy, that doesn’t matter. And I swear, every single time I say this, I get “What about frostbite? If I feel cold it's gotta be a thing, right?”
And to that I say
Seriously?
Those are the CAUSES of the lack of heat. Dehydration is the lack of water, everyone knows that, and dehydration makes you dizzy, yet it's the LACK OF SOMETHING!
Temperature is just the measure of energy, not the measure of the two things of heat and cool. Humanity made the word “cold” Because when it was added to the dictionary, we were not so advanced technologically. We thought it was something else, not the lack of warmth. So, yes, cold is not a physical thing.
Is Water Wet?
Probably one of the most painful questions I’ve ever dealt with. Let's first talk about Adhesion and Cohesion. Adhesion, in the situation of water, is when water is attached to something. So, that would make it wet. Cohesion is when it attaches to itself. Which for some reason… is not wet? Odd, huh. Doesn’t make sense, right? EXACTLY! Come on, this argument is so easily thrown directly into the trash. If you put a piece of wood on another piece of wood, is that piece of wood not on that piece of wood/making contact with it? TLDR, some smart alec or prankster said “Wait isn’t Wet” and everyone thought it was a smart groundbreaking revelation, even though it went against all their logic.
What Came First, The Chicken or the Chicken’s Egg?
Back then this was a very popular question, though it has died down due to the spread of information about evolution and such. And I can confirm, it is the chicken. But before you get all angry, reread the question. When you ask the question “The Chicken or the Egg.” it's obviously the egg, right? At one point in evolution a bird laid the egg that was deemed the first chicken, meaning it had to be the egg, right? WRONG! I asked, the “Chicken’s egg,” Which means that it had to be the chicken, because it was the chicken's egg, the chicken came first. Bet I gotcha. So in that question, the chicken is the answer. But yes, in the traditional question, the egg is the answer.
To Conclude
Overall, I tried my best to tackle these questions, and I think I did well. If you disagree with anything, you can make your argument. But when it comes to certain questions (specifically the food related ones) nothing is certain, except for the fact that no matter what you say, I will believe cereal is a soup.
