At around 10:00 on april 5th, an earthquake originating in new jersey was felt at CMS.
Here are the reactions of different students throught the school
6th grader: “Since it is the third trimester, the excitement and enthusiasm I had at the beginning of the year has now disappeared. Therefore, my reaction to the shakes was, cool, I dont care.”
7th grader. “There was an earthquake? I was too busy using Chat-GPT to notice.”
8th grader. “THE END IS NEAR! THE END IS NEAR! AHHHH! I NEED TO CALL MY PARENTS TO TELL THEM TO PICK ME UP FROM SCHOOL! NO I AM NOT USING THIS AS AN EXCUSE TO LEAVE EARLY! I HAVE ANXIETY!”
Thankfully for the 8th grader, nothing weird will be happening such as, say, the sun going dark for a short period of time in the near future.
