Looking at screens can harm kids more than adults. Yes, even though you might not believe it, it can impact kids' developing brains because they are constantly picking up on new information.

Adults often say that they don’t have limits because they don’t need them, they aren’t affected by screens and they don’t look at their phones all the time. Well that’s not true, adults are affected by screens. Has an adult ever complained about how old they are and their painful back? Well it could be because of looking at a screen because of poor posture.

What is the purpose of screen time limits? The reason behind screen time limits is to help with your health, screens can affect your physical health because of many things including eye strain, think about how long you are staring at a screen for every day. You even have to be on your computer screen all day for school, and it’s hard to limit that. But at home you can!

I’m not saying to never go on screens, cause who wants to do that? But you can go and do something else like play physical board games, do art, talk to people in real life, cook/bake, ride your bike/skateboard, when was the last time you did that? Or you could do something unbelievable, something unheard of…….. TOUCH GRASS!!!! I know, sounds crazy right?

Or you could do something else of your liking, it doesn’t matter, just try to find some time off of your screen.
