Here is the introduction for the series in case you missed it.

CHAPTER 1: CATS × 9 LIVES = GAME OVER HUMANS

Pets. You always grieve for them when they pass, then always say that you wished that they could live longer. Some passed away because of an allergic reaction, like dogs and chocolate. But then you realize that cats having nine lives is not a good choice. If cats really had nine lives, would they learn from their lives? Or would they just fail, fail, fail, fail, fail, fail, fail, fail, and fail? If they did learn from their lives, would they become another intelligent life form? My real question here is would cats rule the world? Would this be bad for humanity? Think about it, cats have learned to scratch and do tricks, right? This is in one life. In the second one, what would cats learn? To talk? To walk on two legs forever? Or maybe learn how to use their owners’ remote control? Then in the third life, would they learn all the languages in the world? Would we have to learn their language? Then all the way in the ninth life, would they become part of governments? Would they become superior to humans? I think it will be game over for humanity, which is why we can never let this happen.
