(Most of this story is true, but some things were added for entertainment purposes. Molensk does not want to upset the United States, as the officials are doing this just for fun. I can’t speak for others, but I think that at the time this was released, Molensk hasn’t built on anyone’s property and doesn’t mean to cause any harm. Molensk was not actually recognized by a micronation in Europe.)
One day, a 13-year-old boy, Joe, stood in the woods of Plymouth Meeting, PA, on a cold November afternoon. He got an image of the woods and drew a border. He claimed an acre of woods as his own micronation, and that afternoon, Molensk was born.
Over time, he recruited his friends and created five main parties, and he, the president, oversaw them. Over time, they created a flag and bamboo huts. They made this town in a quarter in the northeast; they created Capitol City.
One of Joe’s friends went downstream to an opening. He became the mayor of a new city. Bamboo structures were created, and Thin Grass City was born. Molensk had water, food, and around 15 citizens, but it was lacking something… recognition!
Technically, in order to be recognized as a country by the United Nations, you must be recognized by one other nation. So Joe started sending letters…
Days, weeks, months passed—nothing—and a man started to emerge. We’re not sure if he wants his name shared, so we’ll call him Colin. Colin started growing power-hungry, so he bribed the citizens of his city. They attacked Thin Water City, and a battle ensued. Luckily, it was nothing more than a scuffle, and no one was injured, but Joe gave Colin his own micronation next to Molensk to steer him off.
Colin became dictator, and he grew very power-hungry, so a war ensued between Colin and Molensk. Another one of Joe’s friends who wanted to remain anonymous—we’ll call him Brandon—stayed loyal to Molensk. Brandon also was a mayor of a city, Thin Water City, and he had gotten one of those drones with goggles.
Joe recruited Brandon to use his drone to spot enemies, and one day, when Brandon was doing his routine fly-by around the border, his drone spotted one of Colin’s soldiers going to smash the president’s house. Joe sent out two of his soldiers, and they got the enemy back to Colin’s country, Coland.
After Molensk had proven to Coland that they were on top, Coland got scared, so they didn’t mess with Molensk anymore. Joe built more houses around Molensk, strengthened the military by adding more drones and strengthening the soldiers, even getting a coal supply to generate electricity for lamps and cooking food. Then, Joe got a letter.
A small micronation in Europe saw Joe’s letter. They said they loved his idea and officially recognized Molensk. Molensk was now a country, and things were running smoothly. Colin’s country collapsed on itself, and Molensk claimed their land.
Soon, things took a turn for the worse when citizens started getting mad. They had been eating the same store-bought rice for months, so they started an uprising. The army and citizens clashed, and it was a crazy battle, but in the end, neither side won. Joe vowed to get better food and improve quality of life.
(This is the history so far. Some things were added for entertainment purposes. I hope you enjoyed it—the end.)
