**NFL Updates** by Hunter Cooney (6th)
Hey, Hunter Cooney here with my first news update for the NFL! It’s been an exciting season so far with plenty of twists and turns. Here are the updates:
---
**AFC North**
As we head into Week 11, the Steelers lead the AFC North after narrowly sneaking past the Washington Commanders. For me, the biggest surprise is the Ravens in the #2 spot—they just need King Henry to keep chugging along. Rounding out the division, the Bengals are at #3 with a 4-6 record, and the Browns sit at #4 with 2-7.
---
**AFC South**
The AFC South could get interesting, with the Texans at 6-4 and the Colts at 4-6, both facing tough opponents ahead. For the rest of the AFC South, playoff hopes are most likely out of reach, so we’ll have to wait and see how these games play out.
---
**AFC West**
The AFC West is getting intense, with the Chiefs at 9-0 after narrowly escaping a loss to the Broncos. I don’t know about you, but I think the Bills could beat the Chiefs, so make sure you watch that game. Otherwise, there’s not much more to say about the AFC West.
---
**AFC East**
For those who may not know, the Bills have already clinched the AFC East, leading by 8-1. The Dolphins sit at #2 with a 3-6 record, followed by the Jets and Patriots at 3-7. As mentioned, the Bills have a tough matchup coming up.
---
**NFC South**
Now it’s time for the NFC, starting with the South. The NFC South is full of surprises, with the Falcons leading the division at 6-4! The Buccaneers follow closely at 4-6, while the Saints and Panthers are both at 3-7. This division is still anyone’s game.
---
**NFC West**
The NFC West is too close to call, and I’m excited to see how it will turn out. The Cardinals are currently at 6-4, with the 49ers at 5-4, and both the Rams and Seahawks tied at 4-5. With Christian McCaffrey back, keep an eye on these teams as the season progresses.
---
**NFC North**
The NFC North is also close, with the Lions leading at 8-1 and the Vikings at 7-2. The Vikings better watch out, as the Packers are catching up at 6-3. Personally, I’m rooting for the Lions to win the division, while the Bears continue to slip away this season.
---
**NFC East**
Let’s go, Birds! The Eagles are leading the NFC East at 7-2, but let’s see if they can hold on. There’s a huge Thursday night matchup against the 7-3 Washington Commanders for first place. Meanwhile, the rest of the division is at 3-6 and 2-8. All I have to say is: E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES. Go Birds!
